Scored a fuck of a deal on this.  Yamaha RGX-A2 with hard case and two chords for $140.  Thing is pristine, like new.  Really neat guitar and sounds incredible and is LIGHT

How old is it and is that a modern trem or old school system?

Have you seen the painting technique where they take a tube of water and float paint on the surface then slowly dip the guitar body. Bigsbys have been known historically to mess up tuning. not sure if the constant retuning is due to the brand new strings, or the tremolo itself. we shall see. 

thanks Reverbdrum! I wanted to keep it clean, contrasting and classy with a bit of metal. lol. 
Also going to put the strap peg on the tip of the horn on the SG, just like the viper. it is in a terrible spot on the back of the neck at the base of it. c ame that way, gonna change that shit up. lol.

so i had some incompatibilities with the paint and the clear, which made me strip the fucker back down to the wood and start over.
