Since I'm too damn lazy to research it myself, I'll ask here.

Besides the hallowed Flying Dragons and stupid Demon Drive, what other double pedals split into 2 singles easily.

I know I can get some extra parts from Tama to split my Iron Cobra double into 2 singles, but I hear the parts can get pricey and it's a pain in the ass to do it.

actually turning a double cobra into 2 insnt pricey at all, all u really need is a bearing puller to remove the ball bearings, at least with the latest generation of them, other than that no additional parts are required, as the slave pedal has a spot for the spring to be mounted to.

The only real obstacle with this method are the tiny, black allen screws that Tama uses - the centers of them strip out quite easily.

What about beater holder and a bass drum clamp?

Newer generations don't have those tiny allen screws but philips screws. Mine IC has those allens. I disassembled my pedals many times and never striped any of them. Just don't over tighten them.

i have an old dw 5000   double peadl and a yamaha direct drive.  they both convert very easily to two single pedals.
my opinion is:   any double bass pedal that cannot convert to two single pedals without the purchase of additional parts is a fucking piece of shit ripoff  cocksucker of a double bass pedal.   yep,  that's all i have to say about that.

I agree 100%!

I have three double pedals that easily convert... Tama Probeat, 1st Gen Iron Cobra, and Yamaha Flying Dragon direct drive.

I think Elims can split without extra parts, but the new Flying Dragons are completely unable to switch.

i don't understand how double pedals cannot convert.   with the ones I've owned,   just take the pring assembly from the main pedal to the slave,    simple as that.   tweak the springs and play.
I honestly though all double pedals could do this.
