Agreed...

The Power Ride is pretty much one-dimensional...but I like it.

I just picked up a 20 inch Alpha rock crash. It's sorta one dimensional, but I like it as a crash ride.

I'll post pics later.
Big drums.

Looks good! Man that takes me back to when I was a kid and worked my first summer job... a full week of strawberry picking and I spent every nickel on a 20" paiste ride just like that one. It was a dream come true!

Hrm. Renaissance festival for me. Only work weekends, and the tip money is pretty decent ($40 - $80 a day). Had myself a nice chunk of money at the end of summer.

I love that cymbal, too. It's nice and bright (My preference), and a bit on the washy side, once you start hitting it a little harder. Nice stick definition when I want it, and the bell really can cut. (Huzzah. I just described thousands of rides! Hey... I tried. Tongue ) Too bad that there won't be any easy replacement for it if (when?) I end up breaking / damaging it. Angry

Hey Dardrum. Your absolutely right!! I us a set of 14" vintage 602 sound edge hats and a 20" 602 crash/ride with and 18" lovely 602 crash/ride that I use mainly as a crash but I've also used it as a ride in certain situations and it's "AWESOME"Clap
